We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Assistant to join our team at TRI Equestrian Lurgan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Equestrian experience is essential for this role.

Tri Equestrian is Ireland's largest equestrian retailer with locations at the Meadows Equestrian Centre in Lurgan and at the Curragh in Kildare.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding equestrian products. Maintain a well-organised and visually appealing merchandise display. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till. Advise on an fit riding helmets, footwear and body protectors. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Ensure that the store is clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times. Collaborate with team members to and enhance customer satisfaction. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within the designated time frame.

Skills

Excellent communication skills in English. Excellent equestrian knowledge Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Professional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
