Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Candidates must be punctual, physically fit and good attitude. A commitment to safe driving and careful handling of products is essential.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with teams and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Experience
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is advantageous. Experience in performing heavy lifting tasks (up to 25kg) is essential. Use of hand trucks is required. Must hold a valid full UK driving licence. No more than 6 points on licence.
Hours of work
Wednesday to Friday 10-6pm
