We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to locations across Edinburgh only. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting when necessary.
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any discrepancies or damages.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of goods.
Skills
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
Experience in warehouse operations is an advantage but not essential.
