Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide high-quality patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, utilising IT systems effectively.
Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, appointments, and oral hygiene instructions.
Support the administrative team with scheduling appointments and managing patient queries as required.
Participate in continuing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge within the dental field.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification in dental nursing is essential or at least a trainee with any previous experience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
A caring attitude towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of patient needs.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous.
