Job Description

ProMatch is recruiting for a reliable and detail-focused Part Time Dispatch Operative to join a well-established, employee owned seafood processing business based in Alness. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting the final stages of production and ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched.

The Dispatch Operative will work 7.5 hours on Saturdays and 6 hours on Sundays starting at 7am/8am each day.

About the Role

Working within the dispatch team, you'll be responsible for organising finished products, labelling, building pallets and assisting with the loading of customer lorries. You'll play a key role in maintaining smooth operations and upholding high standards of hygiene, accuracy and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Check customer orders against requirements and ensure accuracy Reallocate products between depots and days as needed Build and label pallets to customer specifications Move pallets and assist with lorry loading using manual pallet trucks Maintain good housekeeping and health & safety standards Work collaboratively to ensure dispatch runs efficiently

Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach Good numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to differentiate products Able to follow processes logically and work under pressure Team player with a positive attitude and good timekeeping Flexible and willing to see tasks through to completion Honest, reliable and respectful in communication across all levels
