Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Dispenser to join our pharmacy team. This role involves assisting with medication dispensing, supporting patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily pharmacy activities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pharmacy settings and a strong commitment to patient safety and confidentiality. However we can also provide training if no previous experience. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution Support patient care by providing information on medication usage and potential side effects Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and patient interactions Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety standards Organise stock levels, check expiry dates, and reorder supplies as necessary Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and filing of prescriptions

Skills

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable but not necessary Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to prevent errors Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations Compassionate approach with a focus on patient care and support
