Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and visitors.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or malfunctions. Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleaning or post-event clean-up. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving items as necessary. A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
