Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid commercial driving licence and have experience in delivery driving. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. A strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and warehouse operations will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Operate delivery vehicle, including flatbed Van, to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Experience working in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively. Ability to operate flatbed vehicles safely and efficiently. Must be physically fit, as the role involves lifting and moving heavy items.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
