Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, friendly part-time Driver to help clients with safe, comfortable local journeys and practical errands. This is a non-medical role focused on helping people stay independent and connected.
No previous experience is required. We provide induction, guidance and ongoing support.
Key responsibilities
Drive clients safely to local appointments, shops and community activities Support clients getting in and out of the vehicle where appropriate and safe (no manual lifting) Carry light bags, small items or walking aids where needed Run local errands on behalf of clients, such as shopping or prescription collection, in line with agreed instructions Communicate clearly about schedules, delays or concerns Record basic journey details and mileage for payment Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries and safeguarding standards Keep your vehicle clean, roadworthy and suitable for client transport
Essential requirements
Full UK driving licence Access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle Willingness to arrange appropriate insurance (we will help contribute towards business-use costs) Friendly, calm and dependable manner Right to work in the UK Willingness to complete and maintain a DBS check Comfortable using a smartphone for schedules and messages
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
Work Location: In person
