We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in M&S Simply Foods in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary Hospital. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or those eager to develop their skills within the cleaning industry.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are hygienic and presentable Clean and disinfect small bakery Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored correctly and in good working order Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to meet client expectations Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work Reliable with a professional attitude towards responsibilities and punctuality Ability to work independently Good organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently throughout shifts Monday to Friday 1800-2100 - 15 hours per week, fortnightly pay
