Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering quality service and ensuring all areas are kept spotless and well-maintained. This job will be for after the surgeries close in the evenings.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are adhered to Assist with specialised cleaning tasks when required, including carpet cleaning or window washing

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, which may include early mornings or evenings depending on the assignment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
