Barista

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something unique. We are looking for someone to assist and help run the coffee shop side of our business adding input to always improve and be independent. Be creative with new variations and host events in the near future

We are looking for someone to work 8am - 1pm Monday to Friday with potential full time if interested and weekends

Looking for around 20 - 25 hours a week and have Barista experience.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the cash register
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Prepare and present food items, such as pastries and sandwiches
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including cleaning coffee machines, countertops, and utensils
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints

Skills:

- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and retail transactions
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle money accurately
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
