Duties

Safely operate HGV1 (Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 1) trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify mechanical issues and ensure roadworthiness Follow designated routes for delivery and shuttle driving, maintaining punctuality and efficiency throughout each shift Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation

Requirements

Valid HGV1 (Class 1) license with proven commercial driving experience Experience in shuttle driving, route driving, or freight delivery within a commercial vehicle environment Mechanical knowledge of heavy trucks and trailers to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks Strong communication skills for clear interaction with team members and clients Knowledge of safety protocols related to general and General Haulage.
