Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Fast Falls Response LTD in Ferndown and surrounding areas. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing personalized care that promotes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of elderly clients. Your contributions will help us uphold our mission of delivering exceptional home care services.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and families Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities Monitor and report changes in clients' health status Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for clients Administer medication as prescribed and assist with mobility Maintain accurate records of client care and progress Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

Previous experience in elderly care or similar role is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families Knowledge of care plans and home care practices Ability to drive is a plus but not mandatory Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage Basic IT skills for record-keeping purposes are beneficial but not required Compassionate nature with a commitment to person-centered care Willingness to undergo further training as needed
