A well established, family run business based in Accrington, offering a friendly working environment are looking for an enthusiastic part time Accounts Assistant to join the small team, ideally with Sage 50 and Excel experience. The hours are 25 over 5 days. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to take on a varied role.
Responsibilities
Accounts preparation for 4 companies.
Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Support the reconciliation of bank statements and other financial documents.
Checking and entering takings and other income sources.
Producing payment lists.
Debtors and Credit Control.
Ad hoc duties.
Experience
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is essential.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong numerical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Excellent organisational abilities with a capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
