Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part Time Finance Assistant to join our busy finance team. Reporting to our Accountant, you will be solely responsible for Purchase Ledger, Banking, Petty Cash and Payroll, along with other duties as required.

Duties



Process and manage purchase ledger invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner while maintaining accurate records. Manage Supplier payments, Banking, Petty Cash, and Credit Card transactions Support month-end closing activities, including supplier and bank reconciliations. Collation of Payroll information for Payroll Bureau for 45 people monthly, review and ensure accuracy of the whole process Update and maintain payroll related records, like holidays, staff absence and expenses Collaborate with other departments and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial transactions and reports.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Strong numerical skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software Sage Line 50 Professional, or similar. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving

We can offer some flexibility in terms of start and end time and days worked to make up the 20 hours per week required, within standard office hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Pay: 17,000.00 per year
