to support our Finance Team. This role plays a key part in the monthly reporting process and will support the Senior Finance Manager in preparing accurate and timely management accounts, year-end documentation, and various financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
1. Monthly Management Accounts
Maintain and update ledgers ready for month-end
Prepare journals for payroll, depreciation, accruals, and prepayments
Bank reconciliations and running trial balances using Sage
Update and analyse P&L spreadsheets with actuals, budgets, and last years' data
Investigate variances and provide commentary for Director review
Update and amend forecast spreadsheets based on latest actuals and known future costs
2. Year-End Finance Duties
Produce balance sheet and reconcile all accounts
Prepare audit file including Sage reports and supporting documentation
Liaise with auditors, resolve queries, and post year-end adjustments
3. Finance Team Support
Carry out ad hoc finance duties as required to support wider team objectives
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong telephone manner and clear communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage accounting software
Organised with excellent administrative capabilities
Enthusiastic, accurate, and proactive in achieving tasks
Able to manage changing workloads and respond effectively to unexpected challenges
