Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences are noted
Serve food and beverages with attention to detail and presentation
Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control
Perform basic math calculations for order processing and billing
Skills
Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience is an advantage
Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods
Effective communication skills for clear interaction with guests and team members
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer experience
