Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children from birth to five years old.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of each child. Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on their child's development. Manage behaviour in a positive manner, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education within the nursery setting.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English. A genuine passion for early years education and the ability to manage diverse needs within a nursery setting. A proactive approach with the drive to continuously improve practices within the nursery. Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early years education.
