Your Role & Responsibilities:

Administer medications with precision and monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects, ensuring their safety. Provide comprehensive resident care, including assessments, treatments, and education to empower residents and their families. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to create and implement personalized care plans that meet the needs of each resident. Document and maintain accurate resident records, ensuring up-to-date and clear documentation. Educate residents and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and ways to improve quality of life. Work alongside other departments to ensure coordinated care for all residents. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, always striving to enhance resident safety, care standards, and the overall experience.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

Proven experience with medication administration and strong pharmacological knowledge. Exceptional resident care skills, with a focus on assessing needs and delivering the highest standard of care. Solid understanding of human anatomy to guide clinical decision-making and nursing practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team. Ability to remain calm under pressure, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of care. A compassionate and ethical approach to nursing, with a commitment to providing resident-centred care.

Hours Required: 24 - 36 hours per week, with alternate weekends

Pay Rate: 21.50 per hour + weekend enhancement of 2.00 per hour.
