Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with practical experience in gardening tasks. Duties

Planting, pruning, and maintaining a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees using hand tools and power tools Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of landscapes Operating gardening equipment such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and other power tools safely and efficiently Conducting landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, fertilising, and weed control Assisting with soil preparation, planting schemes, and seasonal garden clean-ups Monitoring plant health and identifying pests or diseases for appropriate action Ensuring all gardening equipment is well-maintained and stored correctly after use Supporting the team with general outdoor maintenance duties as required

Requirements

Proven experience in gardening or horticulture; knowledge of landscape maintenance is highly desirable Proficiency with hand tools such as secateurs, spades, rakes, and trowels Experience operating power tools including lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and blowers Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance A genuine interest in gardening and landscape design principles Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary Organised with good attention to detail to ensure high standards of garden care A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential; willingness to travel between sites is advantageous
