Job Summary


We are looking for a caring and professional gym instructor. This is a small gym with a mostly older clientele, many of whom are following rehabilitative exercise programmes arising from a health or medical issue.

We have a vacancy for 4 hours on a Saturday on a permanent basis. You may also be asked if you can cover other weekday shifts as a result of staff holidays.

This role will appeal to you if you are interested in making a difference for people who may need a bit more support and help in pursing their exercise goals, and are comfortable working alone.

Duties



Plan and deliver coaching sessions tailored to participants' needs and skill levels Demonstrate proper techniques and ensure safety during all activities Provide personalised feedback to help individuals improve performance Foster a motivating environment that encourages participation and confidence Monitor progress and adapt programmes accordingly Maintain organised records of attendance, progress, and feedback Promote a positive team atmosphere and uphold organisational standards Assist in organising workshops, clinics, or special events as required

Qualifications



You must hold a level 2 gym instructor qualification, an exercise referral qualification and have some previous experience in a gym environment. Experience of working with a less able client group and/or additional relevant qualifications will be an advantage.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 14.95 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week

Work Location: In person
