to oversee all aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance at Resincoat. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and maintain effective safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, Develop and implement, Resincoat's Health & Safety policies and procedures in line with current legislation and industry best practices.
Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, preparing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Track and report on near misses, non-conformances, and safety incidents to identify trends and improve processes.
Deliver training programs and toolbox talks to staff on health and safety practices.
Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, including COSHH, PPE regulations, and environmental requirements.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and external safety consultants as required.
Monitor and report on health and safety performance, recommending improvements to management.
Support management in creating a strong health and safety culture across the organisation.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or chemical environments.
Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Experience managing incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
