Job Description

The Part Time HR Manager will oversee all aspects of the HR function, ensuring compliance and supporting the workforce within the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for a professional looking to contribute to a permanent position on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week.

Manage employee relations, ensuring alignment with employment laws and internal policies.
Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
Develop and update HR policies and procedures as required.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure GDPR compliance.
Provide advice and support to management on HR-related matters.
Coordinate training and development programmes for staff.
Handle payroll administration and associated reporting requirements.
Monitor and manage workplace health and safety policies.

A successful Part Time HR Manager should have:

Proven experience in human resources within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A professional qualification in HR, such as CIPD or equivalent.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
