HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR, JAKEMANS (CONFECTIONERS)

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT, PART TIME, 3 DAYS PER WEEK

Please note the advertised salary should be pro rated for 3 days per week.

Established in 1907, Jakemans specialises in the manufacture of quality, menthol based confectionery. Part of the Lanes health family, we are based in Sutterton, Lincs, and are now looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team.

As the sole HR professional on site, you will be the go-to person for all things people related. Working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for providing high quality advice, support and solutions. You will administer all aspects of the employee life cycle and will work closely with all teams to drive employee engagement and the development of our people.

An experienced HR professional, you will have proven experience of providing accurate, timely and commercially minded advice on all aspects of people management. With a proven track record in employee relations, employee development and engagement, you will be able to coach and support colleagues. You will have a sound working knowledge of employment legislation and will be resilient with a practical approach. Acting as a confidential and trusted partner, you will have the ability to deal with sensitive situations using your professional judgement.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract of three days per week, days of work are open to discussion. Flexibility to change your working days or increase your hours on a temporary basis, in line with business need, will be required on occasion.

Primarily this role is based on site, however there is flexibility to work from home on occasion.
