Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that spaces are welcoming and well-presented. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, with an emphasis on using hand tools and power tools effectively.

Duties

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise surfaces, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with health and safety standards. Use hand tools and power tools as necessary for specific cleaning tasks or maintenance activities. Assist with the cleaning of construction sites, ensuring that debris is removed and areas are safe for workers. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices in the workplace.
