Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Part-Time Ironing at our store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all garments are impeccably pressed and presented, contributing to our commitment to excellent customer service.

Duties

Iron and press garments to ensure they are wrinkle-free and presentable for customers. Handle various types of fabrics with care, ensuring appropriate ironing techniques are applied. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the ironing area and equipment. Assist in sorting and preparing items for ironing as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Adhere to health and safety standards while operating ironing equipment.

Skills

Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within a hotel or hospitality setting, is preferred but not essential. Attention to detail and a keen eye for presentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organisational skills to manage workload effectively. Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers professionally.
