cured. has been making great sandwiches in North London for a year and we're looking to expand our team. We are looking for someone really passionate about Italian food who would like to work in a small team who really care about hospitality. The role we have available is part time and candidates will need to be available to work weekends and bank holidays. If more hours are required than just weekends we could be in a position to offer more hours to the right person.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Deli Assistant / Sandwich Maker to join our team in crafting delicious sandwiches and day to day running at our bustling Italian deli. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer preferences and menu specifications

- Prepare ingredients for sandwiches to specifications provided
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwich making
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Assist in stocking and organising ingredients and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and offering menu suggestions
- Utilise time management skills to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Utilise basic maths skills for order accuracy and cash handling
- Upsell additional items to enhance customer experience

Skills:
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Basic maths skills for order accuracy and cash handling
- Strong culinary knowledge for creating appealing sandwiches
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
