Summary
We are seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team at Whitegates Stables. This role is vital in supporting the day to day care and wellbeing of our dogs
Responsibilities
Assist in the daily care of dogs including cleaning kennels, feeding, grooming, and exercising. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennel areas. Support veterinary staff during check-ups and treatments as needed. Provide exceptional customer service to clients visiting the stables. Help with heavy lifting tasks related to animal care and stable maintenance. Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to management.
Requirements
Experience in animal care or a related field is preferred. Must be available to work weekends Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Attention to detail and good communication skills. Basic knowledge of veterinary practices is a plus but not required. Passion for animals and a willingness to learn.
