We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks under the guidance of chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Support catering operations by preparing ingredients and assisting in the assembly of dishes. Help with serving meals to customers, ensuring an excellent dining experience. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including roles such as catering or restaurant experience. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential. A background in culinary arts or related fields would be advantageous but not mandatory. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial. A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks within a dynamic kitchen setting.
