Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Milk&Sugar in St Mellons, Cardiff. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal and food preparation to ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Support chefs with cooking tasks as needed. Adhere to food safety regulations and practices. Help with inventory management and stock rotation. Collaborate with team members to enhance kitchen efficiency. Assist in serving meals during busy periods. Participate in training sessions for kitchen procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and teamwork ability. Basic culinary skills are an advantage. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.

Pay: 12.21-13.66 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
