We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development in a safe and nurturing environment. The Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality childcare and early years education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Create a stimulating and safe environment for children to learn and play.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's development across various domains.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and share with parents.
Support the management team in maintaining nursery policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Ensure the nursery environment is clean, organised, and conducive to learning.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education is essential
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small groups of children effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to promoting children's well-being and development.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
