We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the food production and preparation process, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with fellow team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in the management of food production schedules to meet service demands. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Uphold high standards of culinary excellence while adhering to portion control guidelines.

Skills

Proven experience in food production and preparation within a restaurant or similar environment. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking and creativity in dish presentation. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.50 per hour
