About the Role

Are you a warm, kind, and compassionate individual who loves working with children? We're looking for a dedicated Part-Time Lunch time and After-School Care Assistant to join our team.

This is a key role in our school, providing a safe and nurturing environment for our pupils during their lunchtime break and after-school hours. You will be responsible for:

Lunchtime Supervision (11:00 am - 1:30 pm):

Supervising pupils in the dining hall, encouraging positive social interactions, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

After-School Care (3:00 pm - 6:00 pm):

Running our popular "Tea Time Club," which offers a range of supervised activities, including board games, reading time, and a quiet space for homework. You will also provide a complimentary snack and drink.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about children's health and well-being and is committed to providing holistic care. The ideal candidate will have a naturally empathetic approach and genuinely enjoy the company of primary-aged children.

You should have:

A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above), including Maths and English. Prior experience in a school environment is desirable. The ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with others. The flexibility to adapt to the needs of the school. Strong organisational skills. Experience working in the independent education sector.
