Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, relief from muscle tension, and overall well-being. This role requires a compassionate approach and a thorough understanding of anatomy to tailor treatments effectively. The position offers an opportunity to work in a tranquil environment focused on health and relaxation.

Duties

Perform customised massage treatments based on client needs, including deep tissue, Swedish, aromatherapy, and other modalities Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate therapy plans Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld in the treatment area at all times Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or stretches if necessary Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and clinic productivity Stay updated with the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development

Requirements

recognised qualification in Massage Therapy or equivalent certification Demonstrable knowledge of human anatomy and physiology Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to clients' needs Compassionate nature with a professional attitude towards client care and confidentiality Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary At least 1 of massage therapy level 3 / level 2 beauty required too (optional but preferred)
