Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Minibus Driver based in Maud/Peterhead Area of Aberdeenshire on a part time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will commence once the interview selection process is completed; this will involve interview, licence check, MiDAStraining (if not already obtained), PVG checks and references received.
The ideal candidate must hold a full, clean UK driving licence with cat D1 - this must have been obtained having sat a Minibus Driving test. D1 (101) will not be considered for this role.

The role:

The main role will be the transportation of children to and from school. The driver will work closely with the children, their parents, escorts and the school to ensure the safety of passengers at all times.

This role will be 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, school term-time only, split between the morning and afternoon school runs. Overtime may be available; this could include but not limited to, covering other services along with taking individuals to and from medical appointments. This person should be able to work in a calm, helpful and caring manner with a variety of individuals. MiDAS training would be advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided. Full PVG checks will be required. First Aid training would also be advantageous. Relevant training will be provided to the successful candidate including MiDAS.
