Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable MSK/Sports Physiotherapist to join our progressive evidence-based Physiotherapy clinic on a Part-time self-employed basis to work one evening per week and/or a Saturday. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set in Manual Therapy and Rehabilitation with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. They will be dynamic and able to work independently providing expert physiotherapy for a range of Post-operative, Sports and general MSK conditions. This role involves working with patients of all ages, with a high emphasis on Orthopedics, Sports and paediatrics thus the candidate will be skilled in these areas.

We are a high-level practice with close links to orthopedic and sports physicians. The ideal candidate will have an opportunity to develop and progress, with a strong emphasis on CPD.

Responsibilities

Assess and treat a variety of MSK, sports, and orthopedics ailments Utilize various physiotherapy techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery and improve mobility. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and preventative care strategies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care such as Orthopedic consultants, Sports physicians and others Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in physiotherapy practices. Work independently but be able to contribute to practice as a valuable team player.

Requirements

HCPC and CSP registration and UK based. A degree in Physiotherapy and ideally other Postgraduate qualifications or other degree to compliment Physiotherapy such as Sports Science, Sports Therapy. Strong knowledge of Sports Rehabilitation, Orthopedics & Post-operative care with adults and Paediatrics. Acupuncture/Dry needling and Pilates training an advantage. Experience in private practice beneficial Familiarity with paediatric physiotherapy practices.
