Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support to family. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, organised, and able to create a safe and nurturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to work flexible hours, ensuring children's needs are met with patience and professionalism. Fluency in English is essential.

The child enjoys video games, imaginitive play and is 6 years old.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage child in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development Prepare meals and snacks suitable for children's dietary requirements Assist with homework and educational activities, including teaching basic skills if required Maintain a safe environment by monitoring children at all times and ensuring safety protocols are followed Assist with bedtime routines, including bathing, dressing, reading stories, and settling children for sleep - if required. Mum will be home at 6:30pm often. General housekeeping. Laundry dusting, dishwasher. Pick child up from school and stay until I get home at my residence.

Skills

Proven experience in childcare or nannying with references available Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively Strong communication skills in English; the child has ADHD so benefits from sen experience. Ability to teach basic educational concepts and support learning activities. Reliable driving skills with a valid driver's licence (preferred) Patience, compassion, and a nurturing attitude towards children Flexibility to adapt to different family routines and schedules
This role provides a reliable part time role for the right person, must be comfortable doing a late shift one night a month 8pm-12pm.

Pay: 14.03-20.00 per hour
