We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Assistant to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality childcare, assist with daily activities, and foster a safe, nurturing environment for children. Responsibilities
Assist in the supervision and care of children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
Help maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment for children
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Support behavioural management strategies in line with nursery policies
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
Contribute to the organisation of nursery resources and materials
Support management in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
Occasionally assist with administrative tasks related to childcare records and documentation
Drive company vehicles when required for nursery outings or errands
Requirements
Previous nursery experience or early childhood education qualification is preferred
Experience working with children in a childcare setting, preferred
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to foster a nurturing environment that encourages children's development
Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability
A caring attitude combined with professionalism and patience

Tuesday
Wednesday
Full days 9 hour shifts between the time of 7:30am - 6:00pm
