Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Assistant to support the development and care of young children within nursery for part time hours. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childcare and early education to contribute positively to children's growth and learning.
Duties
Assist in supervising children during play, learning activities, and mealtimes to ensure their safety and well-being Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational activities that promote development in communication, social skills, and creativity Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment, adhering to health and safety standards Help with daily routines such as nappy changing, feeding, and encouraging independence in personal care Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day-to-day activities and developmental milestones
Skills
Previous experience with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable but not necessary Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards young children
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 20,000.00-30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
