Overview

We are seeking three dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote early childhood development. Provide high-quality care for children, ensuring their safety, health, and emotional well-being. Support children's learning through play and structured activities, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment, including toys and equipment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive team atmosphere. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous. Strong communication skills in English are essential for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

Hours

Role 1- based in our pre-toddler room (15months-2 years)- 30 hours a week- Monday, Tuesday and Friday 8-6 Role 2- based in our pre-toddler room (15 months-2 years)- 20 hours a week- Thursday and Friday 8-6 Role 3- Floating across the nursery where needed- 20 hours a week- Tuesday and Wednesday 8-6
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12,698.00-21,060.00 per year
