Linthorpe Beds have an excellent opportunity for a permanent, part time, office administrator to join our growing and dedicated team within our warehouse department. We are a long - standing, family run business with 2 retail stores and 2 fast growing websites. We work with some of the best brands within the bedding industry in the UK and have been both winner and finalists for 'bed retailer of the year' and 'retail champion of the year' for the past 4 years respectively. As our office administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of the administration functions within the business with particular focus on facilitating the smooth operation of the logistical and warehouse department. This is a pivotal role which involves:
Liaising with all internal departments, external suppliers and customers via email and telephone.
Booking in expected deliveries and input of delivery of goods in, into our CRM system.
Providing an efficient administrative function, including compiling and logging data.
Monitoring and liaising with external couriers and deliveries.
Arranging and routing of deliveries along with providing further communication with our customers regarding their delivery.
Providing extensive administration support to the logistics team.
General administrative tasks which may arise on a day-to-day basis, by keeping the office streamlined and organised.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of administration experience in a similar role.
A background in administrative support and office duties is preferred.
Excellent computer proficiency, with experience in Microsoft office software, emails and administrative tools.
Exceptional organisational skills and an inherent ability to prioritise workload.
Excellent time keeping with the capacity to effectively work to deadlines.
Communication skills, both verbal and written is vital.
Attention to detail is essential.
A positive and professional attitude towards work and colleagues.
