Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves transforming spaces through the application of paint, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Hang wallpaper and apply decorative finishes as required. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with client specifications. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting is essential. Ability to drive is preferred for transportation between job sites. Proficiency in English with strong communication skills for effective client interaction. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
