Responsibilities

Assist in the creation of new dessert offerings, contributing innovative ideas to enhance the menu. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards throughout the production process. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of new techniques.

Experience

Proven experience in food production, particularly in baking and pastry preparation. Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on baking techniques and presentation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for creating high-quality baked goods that delight customers.
