Pastry Chef
to join our friendly team at theNoshery & Co
, based within the popular Springfields Garden Centre.This is a fantastic opportunity for a catering student or an individual with a genuine interest in patisserie and baking, looking to build practical skills in a professional setting.
What you'll be doing:
Assisting in the preparation of large quantities of homemade bakes including scones, sponge cakes, traybakes, and chilled desserts Contributing to the presentation and decoration of cakes and sweet treats Replenishing and maintaining the cake counters to ensure they look their best throughout service Working efficiently as part of a close-knit kitchen team to meet high standards of quality and consistency
What we're looking for:
A passion for baking, patisserie, and attention to detail A proactive and reliable attitude, with a willingness to learn Some experience in a kitchen or bakery environment is desirable but not essential Availability to work Saturdays and every other Sunday as part of a regular weekend rota
