Job Description


This role is working for a large school/college and is a busy and rewarding role. This role will involve varied tasks relating to payroll and pensions. The ideal is 20-28 hours per week and hours can be flexible.

The role

This role will involve most aspects of payroll administration. Some of the key objectives are as follows:

  • Much of the payroll entry is automated through a self service system but you will process additional hours and amendments.
  • Updating system with starters and leavers
  • Use portals to put new staff into pension schemes and administer
  • Publish payslips
  • Assist the HR team in creating new self service accounts, sharing details with the staff and answering payroll/pension related queries
The ideal candidate
This is a busy environment and small team so you need Payroll experience to do the role justice. The Organisation is fantastic - as you can imagine given this is Education, the team genuinely wants to support and guide and offer a positive employee experience.
