Part time Practice Nurse Vacancy available to work for 2 days per week (16 hours) Thursday and Friday.

We are a friendly, sociable, well established and well organised practice, striving to provide the highest possible care for our patients. We have an excellent team with a low staff turnover. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic part time Practice Nurse with experience of working in a GP surgery to join us.

The successful candidate must have experience as a Practice Nurse and hold formal training in the following areas:

Cytology, Adult immunisations, Baby Immunisations, Wound Care, Ear Syringing, Family Planning, Travel Vaccination and Phlebotomy. Experience of nurse-led management of long-term conditions asthma and diabetes and experience of all aspects of general practice nursing.

Training will be provided for the successful candidate if additional IT skills are needed (we use EMIS computer system).
