Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a strong commitment to patient welfare.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing patient needs, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required using IT systems. Sterilise instruments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications to enhance patient experience. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or equivalent experience. Strong patient care skills with a genuine interest in promoting oral health. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems; familiarity with dental software is advantageous. Pay: From 13.30 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
