We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and callers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your office experience and organisational skills within a very busy environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing front of house activities, greeting clients and helping with the smooth running of the salon , answering the phone , taking bills and making appointments. It will be an added advantage if you have social media and IT experience.
Responsibilities
Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer incoming phone calls, directing them appropriately with a polite manner
Manage appointment scheduling and calendar organisation using Fresha and Treatwell on line booking Workspace tools
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using relevant programmes
Handle incoming and outgoing calls , maintaining the up keep of our social media pages and online platforms .
Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure all salon supplies are stocked
Assist with administrative tasks such as time keeping and document preparation
Support other team members with salon duties as required to ensure seamless salon atmosphere .
Requirements
Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
Strong computer skills,
Experience with data entry, clerical work, and basic bookkeeping
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Demonstrated phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Organised, reliable, and professional demeanour suitable for a front-facing role
