We are seeking x2 part time professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the receptionist/admin. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment system
Process personal, telephone and e-requests for appointments
Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately
Signpost patients to the correct service
Initiating contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members and external agencies
Support in the management of repeat prescriptions, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently
Action incoming emails when necessary
Registering of patients
Photocopy documentation as required
Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information as required
Patient deduction
Input data into the patient's healthcare records as necessary
Direct requests for information i.e. SAR, insurance / solicitors letters and DVLA forms to the appropriate personnel
Manage all queries as necessary in an efficient manner
Carry out system searches as requested
Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times
Monitor and maintain the reception area and notice boards
Support all clinical staff with general tasks as requested
Attendance and duties required at the Covid Vaccination Clinic
Qualifications
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Experience in administrative roles with a focus on clerical duties
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Previous office experience is a plus
